ACR+ joins new coalition on green public procurement 'Buy Better to Build Better'

ACR+ represents local and regional authorities in the new coalition "Buy Better to Build Better" (BBBB), joining stakeholders from across the construction value chain to call for green public procurement (GPP) as a key driver of sustainable building through smarter public spending in the EU. This new alliance brings together over 30 actors, including public authorities, industry representatives, and civil society organisations. Together, we are advocating for GPP to become the standard approach in Europe’s construction sector.

Our message is clear: Europe must buy better to build better.

Green public procurement is a powerful lever to promote sustainability, reduce emissions, and accelerate the transition to a circular built environment. Through the BBBB coalition, we are setting a bold vision for the future of construction in Europe.
