Building the future of circular procurement with CE-PRINCE

CE-PRINCE is leading the way in circular and green public procurement through its new Transnational Action Plans (TAPs), which strengthen collaboration between public authorities and enterprises. Each TAP outlines practical activities (capacity building, advocacy, and pilot initiatives) across key sectors such as agri-food, construction, manufacturing, and tourism. The recently presented draft TAPs serve as operational tools to put CE-PRINCE’s strategy into practice: the plan for public authorities enhances their ability to integrate circular criteria in procurement, while the one for private enterprises supports companies in aligning their products and services with green procurement standards.
The TAPs include sector-specific frameworks, training, webinars, advocacy meetings, and peer exchanges to build skills, share good practices, and test circular approaches in real cases. CE-PRINCE engages a broad audience, from policy makers to SME leaders and sustainability managers, and invites Advisory Board members to review the draft TAPs by the end of October 2025. Final versions will be published in November, with the next Advisory Board meeting planned for Spring 2026 to present results from pilot and capacity-building activities.
