DECISO celebrates a year of advancing circular economy initiatives

The DECISO project has marked its first year since the kick-off meeting in Rome in November 2022. The project has achieved significant milestones in fostering circular economy programs across four pilot regions: the City of Hamburg, Northwest Germany, West Macedonia, and Alentejo.

The focus has been on analysing the local circular economy landscape, mapping market conditions, identifying practices, and exploring opportunities at national and European levels. DECISO actively engaged stakeholders through workshops, recognizing their crucial role in the project's success.

The first-year accomplishments also include participation in key events, such as Ecomondo 2023 and the Circular Cities and Regions General Conference. As DECISO moves forward, attention is turning to program development in pilot territories, with a goal to launch operations by year-end.
