The Humana People to People Federation has released its 2024 Progress Report, showcasing the work of its 29 member organizations across 46 countries. With more than 1 800 development projects involving 15 million people, the Federation highlights the human-centered impact of its initiatives, which focus on education, health, community development, and environmental sustainability. Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo, the Spanish member of the Federation, plays a key role by generating funds through second-hand clothing to support social programmes both in Spain and globally, reinforcing the Federation’s mission of solidarity and shared progress.

A central theme in the report is how second-hand clothing initiatives directly support communities. In 2024 alone, these efforts generated $28.3 million for development projects, created over 8 000 formal jobs, and supported more than 116 000 informal workers. Moreover, 139 000 tonnes of clothing were repurposed, resulting in a reduction of 849 000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
