ACR+ at the UAPP meeting in Haarlem: shaping the future of strategic procurement

On 12 and 13 May 2025, ACR+ took part in the Urban Agenda Public Procurement Partnership (UAPP) meeting held in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The event provided a valuable opportunity for partners to connect, exchange knowledge, and share experiences.
A key highlight was a Masterclass focused on reducing CO₂ emissions through strategic procurement. Experts presented tools such as the CO₂ Performance Ladder and shared case studies on integrating carbon pricing into public procurement processes.
Participants also benefited from a series of insightful presentations, including updates on key initiatives like Procure2Innovate, the Circular PSP Project, and Climaborough. The discussion also explored the role of non-market valuation in procurement, offering fresh perspectives on sustainable purchasing strategies.
Looking ahead, the partnership began work on implementing the 2025–2028 Action Plan, which includes defining concrete actions such as a series of thematic webinars and a survey on strategic procurement and funding opportunities.
To support outreach and visibility, the new UAPP video and flyer were officially launched, offering an updated visual overview of the partnership’s mission and achievements.
