Goverment of Navarra | First sustainable public event under new regional decree

The 'Estaciones Sonoras' festival has become the first large-scale event in Navarra to fully comply with the region’s new Public Events and Sustainability Decree, effective since 3 May. This regulation introduces both mandatory and optional sustainability measures that must now be followed by all organisers of public events in the region. In addition to the required steps, the festival has voluntarily implemented a range of eco-friendly initiatives, such as separate waste containers, plastic-free policies, water stations, shuttle services, reusable materials for infrastructure, and carbon footprint tracking. These efforts have earned the festival a special sustainable event distinction, making it a model of environmental responsibility in public entertainment.
