LIPOR | FC Porto Receives “Green Heart” Certificate for Excellence in Waste Management

FC Porto has been awarded the prestigious “Green Heart” certificate in recognition of its exemplary waste management practices, particularly at the Estádio do Dragão. The award confirms the club’s successful participation in the ACCESS project and its contribution to creating a more circular and sustainable Porto. The “Green Heart” is the highest distinction granted by LIPOR and is available to both public and private organizations, including educational and hospitality entities. As part of the application process, participants receive technical guidance from LIPOR consultants, who help implement sustainable waste management strategies through audits, action planning, and continuous support. The certification process was one of the three pilot actions proposed by the Porto Circular City Committee under the ACCESS Action Plan.
