Circular Economy and Sustainable Resource Management
It includes 4 events:
- an International Conference
- the Awards ceremony of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2014 awards
- the second meeting of the Circular Europe Network
- ACR+ General Assembly.

The National Waste Management Directorate of Hungary together with ACR+ organises the international conference “Moving away from landfill & incineration: circular economy in practice”.
This unique programme will tackle issues related to waste management in the context of Circular Economy, including:
- The concept of Circular Economy: sustainable resource management
- Circular Economy in practice: the multi-R approach
- Efficient selective collection: a key element of Circular Economy
In addition to this, as a closing event, the European Week for Waste Reduction awards ceremony will also take place to congratulate the best initiatives taken during the European Week for Waste Reduction 2014 edition.

Participants registered for the conference – on demand - will get the chance to operate free Partner Point demonstrating their companies, associations to ensure the possibilities of informal professional discussions and networking.

Following the International Conference, ACR+ is pleased to invite you to the second workshop of the Circular Europe Network.
Participants will have the opportunity to map their territories and find the key points around which articulating their circular economy strategies. This event will feature key note speecheson resource and climate indicators by Dr. Márton Herczeg (Copenhagen Resource Institute) and on territorial monitoring by a representative of Circle Economy (Netherlands).
